During his time in the corporate world, Osama Natto held a variety of prestigious positions which have contributed to his success today.
Osama landed his first professional job while still studying for his Bachelor in Management Information Systems degree from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, working as a Systems Analyst Intern for Proctor & Gamble in the Arabian Peninsula. From 1999 to 2000, he helped deliver regional projects related to sales force automation. Although this position was based in Jeddah, it required frequent travel. However, Osama was still able to balance work and school, managing to graduate with Honors.
After graduation, Osama went on to work as a full Systems Analyst for Proctor & Gamble, specializing in sales and commercial systems. He was soon selected to join a senior team on a six-month venture to establish a new company, Proctor and Gamble Gulf, in Dubai.
In 2001, Osama took a leadership role with Proctor & Gamble, working as a Systems Manager and Project Manager to strengthen the company’s operations in the Gulf. In this Dubai-based position, he was able to deliver quality systems that covered multimillion dollar business processes with hundreds of users across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. His work became globally recognized and was soon deployed in various countries around the world. Remaining with this company until 2005, Osama received many team and individual awards, including recognition shares.
Starting in August of 2004, he also began working as a Business Development Manager to establish Omnitec Al-Saudia, a new company designed to bring an international corporation into Saudi Arabia. Working from scratch, Osama built the foundation for the organization, obtaining all of the needed regulatory and legal approvals, then setting up business processes and practices. Within 7 months, Omnitec Al-Saudia was up and running. Today, Omnitec Al-Saudia is recognized as a successful venture throughout Saudi Arabia by both government agencies and competitors.
In only two years with this budding company, Osama was able to work with local and international teams to close major deals, including the largest-ever single deal in the company’s history. The exciting environment he built has since attracted a wealth of young talent, while the business practices he established have attracted many interested investors. Additionally, Osama was able to help the company’s international team evaluate business opportunities across the Gulf and establish local operations in Qatar. Finally, he managed to develop a full business and technical kit to launch local operations in new countries within 60 days.
Despite these successes, Osama felt limited by many of the constraints found in the business world, which led him to strike out on his own and establish Innovative Business Solutions in 2005. He has been deeply involved in entrepreneurship ever since.
